The distinction that I was trying to make is that I am not Jewish nor am I from Israel and, in spite of that, I most definitely love, respect and stand for both Israel and the Jewish people wherever they may live. They are not perfect, none of us are, but they are God's "Chosen People" for many reasons. Those living in Israel are going through something that, to me, is completely unimaginable. I cannot begin to fathom the full range of emotions. I want them to know they have the earnest prayers and support from countless people from all parts of the world. Again, thank you for your reply! As far as I believe the Bible, God is still having His old covenant with Israel: Jer 31: 35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

@@thakadugladys Well, if you look at the preceding 4 verses (31-34) that's talking about the new covenant, and then in Hebrews 8 and again in 10 we see it's in place. So the old has past, and the new is here since Christ came. Jer. 31:35-37 is also part of the new covenant, and it also has a spiritual, not a physical fulfillment. Yes, the new covenant in terms of removing the veil that prevented the Jews from accepting Him as the Messiah, but saw the light after the ministry of the 2 olive trees in Rev 11 from around verse 4. But they are still the same people. Remember Israel is identified with the 3 trees( the fig, the olive and the vine). It is because of the crafting of the branches of the wild olive and the wild vine into the original that my salvation came into existence. But the fig tree( the national privileges of Israel), still stands and is still upplicable even today. Thanks and may God bless s you.

For anyone who opposes what Israel is doing, in Gaza but the minute someone an ISLAMIST says death to America (they want that person removed from the country, investigated and imprisoned), I hope this is a wake up call for them. Arab nations around Israel have been saying DEATH to ISRAEL for 75 years and they do much worse. HAMAS and the Palestinian have still never acknowledged Israel right to exist. there has NEVER a Palestinian people. All of these ARABS and Muslims (a religion that originates from the Arabian Peninsula) came during the 1920's for the sole purpose of DESTROYING ISRAEL! and they are still trying to do it, but smearing Israel after they once again killed Israeli Citizens. the reason why the "Palestinians" can't get organized is because they are a bunch of TRIBES, that came from all over the middle east and they HAVE nothing in common - except for a desire to destroy Israel. If Israel didn't exist, they would try to destroy each other.

I love Paul. I am in awe of his zeal for the Lord and for his intellect. He used all of his best qualities in the service of the Lord, never flinching from sharing the gospel. What a man! I get a bit annoyed with Christians who don't lik 10:21 10:21 e Paul. Yes he was a hard task master and had no time for lukewarmness - just like Jesus/Yeshua. If only I had even a quarter of Paul's zeal , love for the Lord and his intellect, plus his willingness to suffer every deprivation in the service of the Lord he so dearly loved.
