China is an important economic partner for Israel. Do you know what’s Israel’s largest export to the world?

@@HafiZzZzZz There are surely many Jews in the diamond industry, although I think most of it doesn't come from Israel.

fun fact: Japan actually offered to settle Jews in Harbin, China. they had quite a pair to offer something that doesn't belong to them. whoever that maybe turned down the offer.

Ziv, with regards to the "positive racism", I think there are three facets. Firstly, we Chinese respect the sheer brain power of Jewish people. In fact, this interview even confirms this - Chinese VCs are investing in Israeli ideas. Second, the similarities. Both our histories are long and have remained intact (for the most part). Contrast this to, for example, the Egyptians and Greeks. Today's Greeks and Egyptians have very little in common with their ancestors. Thirdly, the (perceived) obsession with money. It's viewed a bit negatively in the West, but it's right at home in China (which is ironically run by the CPC 😄). Personally, I would add a fourth. The sheer toughness of the Jewish people. I used to work with a guy from Haifa. I once asked him how his family ended up in Israel. He told me his father was originally from Poland. Survived Auschwitz, walked to Israel after the war, then joined what would be the Mossad in the fight for independence. That's one tough dude! Total respect!

I agree with every word you write. I always felt Jews and Chinese have a lot in common. Thanks for watching and for your comment!
