However, what I'd like to find out before I die of an old age, is, what happened in those 6-10 hours before Israel reacted to the Hamas invasion: how many Israeli "combatants" (IDF or not) died out of those 1500 dead, and how many Israelis lost their lives in crossfire (or worse). My take is: in those 6-10 hours happened a lot of shameful stuff Israel, as a state, wants to cover up (and blame all of it on Hamas).
