I have been. It is such an interesting area. The hill/mountain it sits on, looks like a bubble. Probably was an ancient volcano. The wine was delicious and the cheese was amazing. The only wine I liked more was Pelter.

Awesome!! You're right, the whole area used to be volcanoes, and Ein Zivan's Pelter winery is really unique🍇

@@meetmeisrael have you ever been to Tavor. Also one of my favorite wineries. When I come there in July looking forward to trying some the true Israeli wines. The grapes they just rediscovered after hundreds or thousands of years.

@@jbselco1 Wow, that's amazing that they found ancient grapes! No, I haven't been to that winery yet, but I'll definitely need to head over there!

I love gardening and growing fruit bearing trees. Israel has done so much research on the subject compared to it's size, that is amazing in and of itself. But in the last several years, they (you) have even tried to bring back species and save species from extinction. Some of the grapes I speak of are believed to be from the time of King David. Can send you the articles and books about it if you like. But I think the true start was with Methuselah. Have you heard of this? It is the Judean Date palm that they brought back from extinction with some of its brothers and sisters. That are down at Kibbutz Ketura down south. Sorry, I could literally talk about this stuff all day.

Oh and I don't know if any of the wineries you have been to have had this book, but I highly recommend it. The book is titled Wine Journey: An Israeli Adventure. It is written in English and Hebrew. It has a large amount of boutique wineries in Israel in it with a small blurb about the winery and it's varietals. It talks about whether they are Kosher and level of Kashrut, child friendliness, handicap accessibility, and if food is served there.

It could be more pleasant not to have to look at the narrator head-on during the story, it's a shame about the movie time, which leaves out other things for it.
