When they witness Israel’s mistreatment of the Palestinian people with their own eyes, they are horrified and heartbroken.
They join the movement of young American Jews battling the old guard over Israel’s centrality in American Judaism, and demanding freedom for the Palestinian people. Their stories reveal a generational divide in the American Jewish community as more young Jews question the narratives their synagogues and Hebrew school teachers fed them as children.

Im generally pro-Israel and believes that it has a right to defend itself. However, the occupation and settlement of the West Bank and East Jerusalem is illegal and de facto turns Israel into to an occupier and, I don’t like saying it, into a colonialist settler nation. If Israel just left the West Bank and pulled out the settlements I would support it 100%. However, with that said I don’t appreciate the way that many pro-Palestinians try to obfuscate between the West Bank and Israel, as if Israel proper were an illegal state or colonialist/settler, which it is not.

@@oskar6607 I am in agreement here. The problem I see with trying to “eradicate Hamas and Hezbollah” is this: there will always be people to take their places. Granted, it may bring a certain lull in activity, but they’ve always come back. So I do ask myself: doing something over and over again will not a different result bring. It only sows more hate and radicalism. Not good.

As I have friends in South Africa and see the divide in their religious believes and why so many South African Businesses/ Radio Stations have been assisting conflict victims. And this video will reach people like me who misunderstood the whole Palestine/ Israel conflict... I was honestly under the impression it was about the Music Festival where the festival goers were kidnapped. After watching this so much more makes sense and YES, I too have seen armed Israeli soldiers patrolling the West Bank, I have also seen soldiers mistreating children and never understood why. This video helped me get a bigger understanding of the plight for justice, Not just for one of a kind but all...
