I was wondering if Marzel grew up speaking English to his parents. I know he was born in Boston and came to Israel as an infant and schooled in Hebrew obviously. All that being said he has a very good command of the language albeit having an accent when he speaks.

I went to his home for shabbat lunch once, he basically refused to speak english. He has a beautiful family, but he is a tough guy, a warrior at heart, he choses to live in a place, on a streat that is very dangerous, he has a mentallity of fighting until his last breath. Maybe in old age he is chilling out a bit, but imo, ben gvir is the more approachable, more friendly one between them.

What a charming, well-informed, and healthy religious leader this rabbi is! I have no reason to doubt his assertion that Kahane was "a very nice man". It may not be a "proper" solution to you who value Western concepts over Torah, but it is a Torah solution. Re-read the Book of Joshua and see what his failure to complete this solution has meant to the Jewish people.

The nazi "final solution" or the antics of Milosevic is not comparable to the Word of G-D in the book of Joshua. I recommend that you review this book with authentic Jewish commentary plus introduce yourself as to the words of Rabbi Meir Kahane concerning this comparison. If you decide to do this, my comment should be more understandable to you. As far as your comment concerning the Abrahamic accords - The Arabs agreed to this not because they suddenly love Jews but instead because of their own national interests. Only a few businessmen in their countries will benefit monetarily and it will not affect their ideology in the slightest. The Torah fact that Esav hates Yaakov for "stealing" his birthright is still applicable even today and even financial gain does not negate this in their minds. Shalom.

@@charleshimes1634 As we both appreciate there is a wide spectrum of believes within the Jewish faith ranging from the ultra Orthodox to Jews like former Prime Minister Yair Lapid who belongs to the Reform movement. Personally I respect the religious convictions of all fellow Jews no matter what side of the spectrum they are on. So if it is your religious persuasion that the Torah overrides Western values I will not dispute that though of course personally I have different thoughts on the subject matter as I expressed in my previous messages to you. In that I am not alone Israeli Society in general is secular and even the Israeli judiciary are not on the same line as Rabbi Meir Kahane z"l. At this juncture my mindset is geared towards coming to terms in matters litigation and for all sides in the dispute to embrace peace and reconciliation. In that regard I have presented a proposal to the other parties so that we can all come to terms here and my wife, my daughter and I will have the opportunity to start a new chapter in our lives here in the Dominican Republic.
