What exquisite tone quality ! When I was a trombone student in the late 1960's, the fashion was becoming to produce a bigger and bigger sound. I always resisted this, preferring a more centered and darker sound like the fine soloist here. I am so glad that this artist convincingly demonstrates the validity of my opinion, even though it took 50 years ! Listen to this performance, then listen to Alessi's also on KZbin. You decide.

Centered, yes, but with my iPhone earbuds not darker. Definitely not the trend in America to play with this tone. I like his individuality.

@@bradleybunk6463 I can't actually disagree with what you've said. However, I believe you could appreciate the sound of the Russian trombonist Alexander Nyankin and American Massimo La Rosa. You may listen to them on KZbin also.
