I love how you put it, “If we change the behaviour of our fathers, brothers and partners then we won’t have to protect our women and girls.” And RIGHT THERE IS A FACT! Society has often allowed men to get away with a lot and pushes the burden of responsibility to women, whereas in most cases we not the problem, men are and this conversation of ‘men behaviour’ is also applicable to GBV, where women are told to dress “less provocative” or be in “safe spaces” but fact is, it shouldn’t be our responsibility to eradicate GBV when we know WHO the problem is! Hey Nozi your story has made me forgive my father . He infected my mom with HIV pretty much like your story except they were already married he failed to be faithful . My mom passed on and I've blamed him for everything (which is unfair I know) . I am in a household left with a alcohol addicted father and baby brother who is 14 years old who I love so much ,lost one of most important woman to me my mother who was our breadwinner . But your posts and vlogs bring me Hope that some how we will pass this situation. Thank you .

Nozi. Please interview this lady on this channel. There are many wives who get infected unknowingly by men who work in the cities and when they go home every end of the month or holidays take the virus to their wives or just married men who have extra marital affairs and infect their partners. Married women are vulnerable because it's unheard of that the wife would ask a husband to wear a condom even when she suspects that the partner is cheating. You can start a campaign for married partners to test also regularly to discourage irresponsible and unprotected sexual encounters. Thank you, Nozi. Lots of love.

The stigma is still there, abanye abantu have to go and take their medication in another clinics because they are running away from their nearby clinics as they are afraid of other people who will gossip about them. It is also not easy to even come out for others because of the stigma. I so wish people could change their way of thinking because ndim today nguwe ngomso.
