Read her autobiographical book in 2019 & found her misadventures of awkwardness very relatable & funny. (Also appreciated it in more ways than one. For example she gave the pronunciation of her last name (Diop pronounced like Jope--like Hope with a "J" instead of "h"), before she used Rae, which was helpful since the Senegalese music group that I really enjoy the song Everything Is Never Quite Enough from, is called Wasis Diop. I might be mispronouncing the Wasis though.) Then watched Insecure, then checked out other shows & movies during Insecure's hiatus to fill the void. And now that all 5 seasons are completed after the long break, I am now here finally checking these out after forgetting & being reminded constantly that they exists while on Lipstick Alley's discussion board for Insecure, & most recently on their discussion board for the series Harlem(a few commented on the girl in Harlem being the germy girl in ABG.) So I definitely relate to your withdrawal symptoms & now I'm NOT looking forward to these ending.
