I just visited to Istanbul on last year before pandemic. At that time I traveling starting from Istanbul head to Cappadocia, Ankara, Çanakkale,Ancient Troy,Bergama,Selçuk Hierapolis,Pamukkale,Konya,Nevşehir,Kaymaklı underground city,Avanos Goreme National Park. To me its just absolutely fascinating to think that those same streets have been walked for literally thousands of years, to imagine the history that has happened there. Constantine, Justinian, Mehmed, Suleiman. The center of great empires, of the worlds trade. In many ways this city is the center of the world.
