About Istanbul Technical University
Istanbul Technical University is a research-intensive university conducting scientific research at the utmost level. Since its inception and foundation, ITU has constantly led the way in reform movements, and in the latter era of the Republic of Turkey, ITU has assumed pivotal roles in the reconstruction, modernization, and administration of the country. ITU has accomplished this with extensive collaboration with the industry, as being one of the best universities in industry income globally.
As its motto reflects clearly; ITU is “contemporary for centuries” since its foundation about 250 years ago. It has a long history dating back to 1773 as “The Royal School of Naval Engineering” and its responsibility was to educate chart masters and ship builders. After the introduction of education in the fields of architecture (1847) and civil engineering (1883), it became an “Engineering Academy”. It has gained university status in 1928 and continued to provide education in the fields of engineering and architecture until it was corporated into “Istanbul Technical University” in 1944. Finally, ITU became autonomous in 1946 including the Faculties of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electric & Electronic Engineering. Currently, ITU is spread over 5 campuses including 13 faculties and 6 institutes.
Located at the heart of Istanbul, a city of history and culture, Istanbul Technical University is a huge family. Currently hosting about 30,000 students, it has graduated much more: including presidents, prime ministers and many ministers. Offering 99 undergraduate and 192 graduate programs, ITU thrives to be the leading university in engineering and architecture in the Republic of Turkey and has a very strong influence in its region. Many students from 108 different countries enjoy good education as well as sports and recreational facilities ITU offers. Our campus is green, sustainable and self-sufficient. Hi. By thinking at an ultrasonic microphone or a coil that envinromental utrasound passing troungh an a mesh or wire, short circuiting it you can obtain a thermic panel for warming only using the environmental ultrasounds. My very best regards!

Hi. No joke. Waterproof microphone or coil, electric curent flux, magnets, mesh. Equal termal heat could work at the armed concrete buildnings or heated floor. My very best regards.
