Thank you very much. I believe I have completed the exam successfully. The results are expected to be delivered within the next three days. The exam questions were a mix of tricky and straightforward ones. Some of the question titles were quite lengthy. The exam covered all the new changes from version 3. The allotted time for the exam was neither too much nor too little; it was adequate for all 40 questions. There wasn't much time for reviewing answers before submission.

Dear Neeraj, Thanks to you I was able to understand better the structure of the exam and gain many other useful tips and tricks. I passed the exam (v4.0), which now can give me a further move in my career. I want to highlight how well you explained the differences between Product Risk and Project Risk / Tips on how to understand coverage of the branches and statements and you gave so many examples that are easy to understand. I have just one question and this is very interesting to me. I went through all syllabus sample questions for both 3.1 and 4.0 versions and in the version 3.1 sample question Set C, QS-21, option - d says that "Exploratory testing can involve the use of black-box techniques but not white-box techniques" which is not the correct answer, while in version 4.0 Set D, QS-27, option - d "During exploratory testing the tester may use black-box test technique" which is the CORRECT answer. In version 3.1 during the exploratory testing, we cannot use black-box, whereas in 4.0 it can be used. In the explanation sheet from the 4.0 version, it says "During exploratory testing, the testers can use any techniques that they find useful". I would appreciate it if you please clarify that for me. Thank you! 😊

During exploratory testing, testers can use any technique-black box, white box, or even gray box testing.

sir i need your help. basically i prepared for foundation level exam with syllabus v4.0. i am from Pakistan and here PSTB take exam of ISTQB so when i open PSTB website and there syllabus is of v3.1 but prepared for v4.0. i just want to know that v4.0 is coming or ISTQB is already taking exams with v4.0 ? also ISTQB is taking v3.1 exams ? please reply must sir.

Hi the exams are specific to countries till May 2024. From may all countries have to take exam on 4.0. As you PSTB is offering exam on 3.1 so please refer my 3.1 playlist to prepare. All the best
