Hi, just to clarify I think there is no difference to bearing capacity for cohesive soils between dry and wet. The allowable bearing capacity for cohesive soils is always 2C regardless

Any books that provide concept design guides are good, most design firms will have some guides too

I do not necessarily agree with scheme design. Ground bearing slabs are generally less thick and less carbon intensive than the suspended slab which is generally thicker....
