Not sure about all the others, but you get the Apollo as a reward for hitting level 60 if you haven’t found out already! I’m assuming there’s something similar when you hit max clan level but haven’t heard of anyone doing that yet. I 3 starred every speed trap hoping for some sort of secret reward, and nothing. Outside of the cash, kind of sucks and seems like a missed opportunity

HK has a very large JDM culture, it was one of the few countries that Nissan sold R34 GTR officially.. It's really depressing not only there are only 3 asian cars in this game, but also those 3 are all recycled ones straight out of TDU2 which means devs have literally no idea about HK's own car culture

I always feel like having multiple variations of basically the same car (newest Ford GT, Audi R8, Bugatti Chiron/Veyron) is a lazy way to improve the number of cars in your game. just to be clear: for me it is absolutely fine to have a Ford GT from 2017, 2004 and 1964, because these are clearly different cars. It is also fine to have a seperate convertible variant---like they did for the R8.

one guy's YT channel I watched has the Apollo IE is one of the in game rewards, not sure what are the requirements specifically, but I saw it with my own eyes EDIT : you need to be max level in order to unlock the Apollo IE

And there is also Asphalt 9, where there are all the latest spercars, and they also crash. So there are licenses. I don't believe that if a major publisher wants them, they won't get them. It turns out they don't think it's necessary.

Seriously hope they add more free cars with time. Most of them are ancient relics of TDU2. Wished for modern jems like the Utopia or the Alfa 33, maybe even some Chinese stuff for immersion purposes since you are in Hong Kong! Could be great even adding some more hot hatchbacks or performance wagons and sedans, there's literally an handful of them and the only hot hatch is the Delta. Focus RS, Golf R, Audi RS3? Where's the meat?

So this game looks pretty, meh, but at least when it comes to the car list, it's pretty on brand. TDU2 had a terrible car list but they added variations of certain cars like 4 zondas and 6 veyron to keep things interesting. I still wish to see the Mclaren F1 LM in a game not called Need for speed.

Its an odd choice to not have the newest versions of cars in game like the Mustangs, the TTRS, Continental GT, C63, G63, no Jesko, a 13 year old 370Z instead of a Nismo edition from like 2017 or the Z. their most notable work is like Flatout 4 and a couple of WRC games and they're aren't exactly the best games by any stretch of imaginaton, but the worst part is that half of the issues TDUSC is currently suffering can be averted by making the game to be playable offline at launch like Forza Horizons and even modern NFS'es did (they didn't)
