R Class is either peak fiesta or peak racing; I had an epic battle with some dude in an f50 GT around Watkins Glen while I was driving the McLaren Senna. Nice clean racing around one of the nicest circuits ever, he even messaged me a thumbs up+ a compliment afterwards.

If you avoid a collision, and the meantime you run out of the track, the game not gonna give you any penalty, but if you gain like 0.5 sec gap because of the cutting, you will get a penalty! It works fine!

1:42 got rammed like that in past 5 races and I GOT the penalties (2sec in almost all). Because of that, i downgraded to B and then C safety ratings by the first time. Went to Forza GT to recover my dignity 😢

Your videos are very entertaining; you do a great job with them and obviously a very talented driver. Overall they're pretty definitive proof that Forza Motorsport is a game, played by gamers on game consoles with game controllers. It's like a bowling game with cars. The players (they're not drivers) will get on their shooter game or fantasy RP or whatever as likely as play this. So you get exactly the results you document so well, in those circumstances.

When you are using a Race transmission, in settings, set the gear change to manual with clutch. You don't need the clutch and the car will shift even faster. Going by the sound I think you're just on manual. (not that you need to be any faster...)

A lot of the chaos was definitely the playerbase being unable to handle R-Class cars correctly, but that Ferrari and Bugatti were both malicious imo

Looking at the terrible choice of multiplayer races this week, I've taken a break from Forza. You can have million HP cars and a destroyed rating, or go to touring (bumper) cars... and get a destroyed rating! I hope the Open Class is more sensible one next week.

I’ve been using the missionR and beating people and they are legit pissed about it. Getting ran off the road getting told to get a real car amongst other things. Zero etiquette in any lobbies outside of the gt and touring cars.

KindaHydra in that McLaren was super classy and polite! And at the other end of the spectrum, fuck people like Rubc91. Should have been booted rather than being allowed to wrack up 5.00 seconds in penalties. It seems that players are starting to realize how to PIT other drivers without incurring a collision penalty. Something needs to be done.

Forza needs to make you an mod or give you a special place to report these people. The people doing this crap need to be banned for a week at minimum so they realize they can't just purposely be hitting people off track. The penalty system sucks and doesn't work well enough to actually encourage clean driving. I find you are less likely to get a penalty for just pushing people off than avoiding hitting them and then accidentally hitting them later.

Probably a mixture of both. Then again they use mouse and keyboard, so the have to press a button to keep the speed up istead of gradually increasing the throttle. Considering said button means "wide open" whenever they press it, the rear tires break loose if they hold the key for a little too long.

Yup. I just don't understand why braking is such a difficult concept in FM. If you run quick on someone's rear, back off. Practice patience and use race craft to set up a pass. Fkrs think this is horizon lobbies just smash the throttle.
