Where to locate the Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid and how to replace it. OBD Code P0440

Thanks for this! It's hard to find Trooper repair vids online. I picked up my first Trooper and 2 days later it got a P0440 code and started stalling when putting it in park with the tank more than half full. Hopefully this is the culprit.

The one sent to me looks different than the one on my trooper. The one on my trooper has the wire plug coming straight up off the top near the end opposite the 2 vacuum lines. The one sent to me the electrical plug is above the 2 vacuum lines on the same end. Can I still use it?

Hello quicknsimple13 I have 2002 Trooper, that has canister vent valve damage, but I have hard time finding one. Can you recommend a place where to purchase one, abroad, as I don't thin anybody carry them. Thank you

Is this where you can find it in a Isuzu rodeo 98 too?

Looking at a picture of a Rodeo engine, it looks like the design is similar. So it should be in the same location.

Yes, it did. The yellow engine light has not come on since I changed the Canister Purge Solenoid.
