I replaced my General grabbers with Cross Contact LX. The ride quality is off the charts and its so quiet. I love the bakkie thou,drives beautiful.

The Conties are a solid highway tyre, but as soon as you go off-road the sidewalls are found wanting at times.

Currently got the same 18 inch rim on my KB5 300 D'teq Double Can running 265/60R18 Dunlop AT22s and the ride is very hard coming from 245/70R16 GY Wranglers... I run 2.0 / 1.8 bars & has improved a little.

Hi Nice video. How's would the super cab be of this model? As I need more bucket capacity , so double cab is to limited and single cab has to little passenger room.

Supercab is great if you don't have a lot of passengers, but still want a little storage space behind the seats and more load surface area.

@@Africasideways apparently this is the most fuel efficient bakkie. Is that true, got a mazda bt50 3.2 and ford everest 2.2 tdci. And it chows diesel. Would the izuzu be better on fuel economy?

Isuzu is great on fuel economy, around 10l per 100km, and if you drive faster it does not really affect it too much. The Ranger chows more when lead footed.
