That’s a fairly good sized snail ya got there, I’d say she’ll make some good power. Excited to see more, what’s the plan with the build?

To solve the issue with your downpipe won't take much. All you need is an ultra tight radius 90 degree stainless bend, something with a 2.52" center line from end to end. I used one of these with my KSwap, works great although they are not cheap.

I skipped the top mount brace for new sway bar, endlinks and chassie bracing just not enough space for my build

I can get my 370 about 24 to 30 inches. I use that crossbeam spreader to get it by the subframe lift spots, whole back up in one lift.

I see you have a block off plate on the idle air control valve on the plenum, what did you do for the idle portion under the throttle body? Did you just cap off the coolant lines that ran through all of that stuff?

Malik Lee - I left the idle air controller on the throttle body and deleted the idle temperature valve from the entire setup. The intake manifold was later removed and all water ports were sealed, when new pistons rings were installed with a much larger ring end gap. The front water neck for the thermostat was relocated to the rear of the engine, when the coolant relocation kit was installed. I also tapped and threaded the water pump outlet with NPT pipe caps, and the heater core was deleted as well.

@@MonkeyWrenching you didn't have any idle issues with removing the idle temp valve? I'm in the process of my build now. I have the coolant reroute and deleted the front water neck. I have a an fitting coming from the side of the block where the cap was into the turbo and then going from the turbo into the port coming out from between the belts in the front of the block. Since that neck is gone I have been trying to figure out what I was going to do with the lines that ran to the idle valves and throttle body. If I can remove that stuff and just cap the lines I will do that. I am running MS3 Pro so hoping I can get it running good.

I use turner studio as well with my speeduino, haven’t had any idle issues. But to be fair I don’t have air or anything that pulls a draw from the alternator, so I set my idle air controller to on/off and used ecu to set the parameters based on temp. Holds a high idle till it warms up at the desired temp, then lowers the idle to where I set it. Closed the valve and I set the idle screw in the throttle body to where I wanted it. As far as the turbo water lines, I’ll be swapping a GT3071r in soon. It uses water, and my current T04e does not. I’ll be using the water in from the heater core water inlet from the water pump, being I drilled and tapped it for AN (I’d have to look to see exactly what thread pitch I used, I think 3/4”) and the heater core return to the relocation hub at the back of the engine for the water out of the turbo. I filled all of the water holes on the intake manifold and used the block off plate at the head vs on the water neck.

i’m about to buy a t3 so i’m expecting these sizing issues as well. there’s no t3 cast iron manifolds for sale anywhere right now tho so i have to get a TDO5 manifold with an adapter. 😢
