To recognize patterns one must have experience with those patterns. Now that you're a 25 year old man, you recognize patterns and have acquired some wisdom and discernment. I took a test in my psychology class to find out which political party I was more aligned with in theory, and I got Democrat. This was back in 2006 when I was 16 - by the time I was 19, I was a lot more conservative. When I registered to vote, I registered as unaffiliated. I voted for Mitt Romney in my first presidential election in 2012 - I could see that things were getting bad in America around the time of the Occupy Wall Street nonsense. There are some Democrats who would lead America in the right direction but, they are few and far between sadly. Glad I saw the truth from a very young age.

I love seeing this. My Dad (Black American) woke up to the democratic party when I was about 14 years old. So I've been a conservative a very long time now. Seeing more and more black men wake up gives me hope for the future of our country. No matter what the left says, if a man is in the home, the family tends to be more conservative. There is NOTHING on that particular page that says anything about public school children being required to take a military entrance exam and private school children are not. I haven’t read the rest yet so I’ll be on the lookout. So far what I’ve read, there are things that I agree with and things that I don’t. I turned 18 years ago, couldn't wait to vote for Jimmy Carter, the Sunday school teacher, Navy veteran. His policy in the Middle East had the Shah of Iran stepping down, being replaced by Yassar Arafat and the world has been on fire ever since. When Arafat died, he had millions of foreign aid dollars in his bank account in France - money that was to help the Palestinians , which never reached them. That was the end of my being a Democrat. The same thing goes on today, in Palestine, in America, around the world. Politicians promise relief for the poor yet line their pockets with money from all these "programs." Keep the people poor, disinftanchised, angry, divided, and politicians stay in office by use of empty promises, while gailing to deliver anything to their constituents. I lived in a Dallas neighborhood, had two children born there then moved to another state because of a work transfer. It appalled me what happened to that area when years later my son born there returned for a soccer match he stayed in a motel my husband and I had stayed in when we first moved there and he witnessed a murder in front of that motel....that area had completely gone downhill from the wonderful community we had lived in when he was born. I'm so thankful that this wonderful city is experiencing a turnaround as I'm sure this Mayor is not the first or last person who has figured out that the way the Democrats roll is not the best way to live in the U.S.A. ​@melindatarnow5713 Houston sucked long before Hurricane Katrina. The influx of New Orleans "refugees" "welcomed" by Mayor Bill White just escalated the downfall. While Mayor White was on TV telling the NOLA buses to come to Houston, he was on the phone telling the state police (DPS) to block I-10 to keep them from arriving!! He was also responsible for the mass exodus of people trying to leave before Katrina hit. There was a planned progression of how people were to evacuate (closest to the coast leave first, etc). But White went on TV and said "EVERYONE LEAVE NOW" which caused a panic and one of the worst traffic jams in American history. Several people died on the side of the road. White never paid for his incompetence and blamed the police.

If I am not mistaken, before the 2020 election during the covid lies, Witchmer killed more seniors (who overwhelmingly vote conservative) in old folks homes than the number of votes that Trump won MI by in 2016!!! It's just common sense once you hit a certain age and situation in life. You start caring about security and stability in all aspects. I grew up very progressive. Until I hit my lates 20s (Now 30) and realized being a Conservative Republican is a much more viable option for someone who isn't willing to blindly support degeneracy anymore.

Wonderful speech. Good for him. If he ran for president I would 100% vote for him. I’m so tired of black, brown and white lower income people can’t afford to take our children to dentist, healthcare. My grandson has Level 3 Autism but he’s put on a waiting list. People walk into our country and they get free healthcare plus so much more. I’m sorry our American families should be first. All that money should go to our schools, instead of jails we should have rehab facilities and top notch with no waiting list. I could go on. We deserve better.

I’m a white man raised in a rural area. My dad’s family was hardcore democrat. I always voted for the person not the party so I guess I was more of an independent. My grandmother voted for Trump in 2016 primaries she told me it was her first time voting republican. She has since passed but my family has shifted dramatically towards the republican party.

As a 62-year old native Houstonian, I have never in my life participated in any rivalry with Dallas (always considered us as "city cousins"), but after seeing this video clip of Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, let me say that I wholeheartedly ADMIRE and WISH that Houston could be as fine and upright as Dallas! Houston is now a bankrupt city, thanks to Democrats. Even the Director of the Baker Institute of Business at Rice University says we are paying our bills with credit cards! But according to Houston City Council members, we aren't. Councilwoman Tiffany Lewis had the audacity to announce, "Just change the language and I'll challenge you!" Way to go, Democrats. I wish we had a Republican mayor like Eric Johnson. Boo-hoo, we just be poor and stupid.
