Hi Agnieszka over there, I’ve been watching your videos for some time and just want to express my appreciation - they are simple, I guess you could say pretty much down to earth, which is likeable in a world where hands and cameras are shaking as if they needed a toilet soon. But that’s not the case with your views, calmly straight forward on small and tiny things as well as bigger issues. I imagine it’s just those things that matter in the long run, especially for as bicycle riders. Keep on what you’re doing so good as we are many watching (over you) now and then and don’t forget to take good care of all your nice Canadian trails. Best wishes, Kent Bostrom (in Europe)

Victoria would be great for cycling. A friend of mine I know from here i thunder Bay Ontario, used to run the city's "Active Transportation" program here. A few years ago though, he accepted a similar job out in Victoria. He is now responsible for making more improvements to the cycling infrastructure out there, I'm already looking forward to your next video.

This is super exciting! Having done this type of tour I can feel your anticipation and I'm so glad you're doing videos so well. The bike trails in Victoria look awesome (my tour didn't go through there). I'm really curious as to what routes you'll be taking and how it will go. It is normal for the bike to feel really heavy when you're not used to it, but I think you'll adapt quickly. Soon the bike will feel unstable when you're riding without the load. I think its best to load the heavy stuff on the back, keep the front as light, so it feels less wobbly. Happy trails! I'll be watching 👍
@WheelsonaBike2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Jorg. It's an interesting point about how we adjust to the weight on the bike. I took the weight off to dip the wheel in the Pacific, and almost couldn't control the front od the bike. So yes, we adjust. Now I just need to get physically fitter so that I don't have to push the bike so often. Thanks for watching!

This may be a dumb question but I have to ask. How did you cut open the bike box when you arrived? I am taking my bike on a flight and wonder how a knife or cutter could be used at an airport? Was the cutting device in your luggage? Thanks, and I look forward to watching your tour across Canada. Good luck!
@WheelsonaBike2 жыл бұрын
Not a dumb question at all! I packed a multi tool with a small knife in my checked luggage (panniers) and used that to open the box. If I didn't have that, I would've asked the airport staff for an exacto knife.
@curbowman2 жыл бұрын
Hello! New foreign subscriber here! Sorry if it's too obvious, but why did it took two hours to ready the bike in the airport? I've never rode a fully loaded touring bike yet, so I'm curious about it. Do you have a video of all the stuff you are carrying on this trip? Thank you and have an enjoyable ride!
@WheelsonaBike2 жыл бұрын
I had to disassemble many things and then put it back together, then attach all the little bags and then finally load the panniers. I don't have a video detailing all the things I'm carrying on this trip, but since people are asking, that's a video that will be published in the future. Thank you for subscribing!
