I love the way the anime did the Nami moment. An example of how they can elevate the source material. In the manga it’s just a small panel that you can barely see Nami. Here she’s clearly highlighted, and she deserves it. A truly underrated Nami loyalty moment here.

This elevated Nami's character a lot for me.She slowly became one of my least favorite strawhats , but after these moments in Wano , she''s earning my respect pretty fast, I kind of love her now.. I feel like Franky got done very dirty in this arc , his scenes were almost always comedic and short. No emotional payoff at all for him , since his fight with Senor Pink. I think Franky deserves more love for real..

Nami was the MVP of 1070. It managed to capture Nami's most endearing quality to perfection. We can only hope that we encounter such loyalty in our lives. Going back and watching it again still gives me chills.

I love the detail of Zunesha smiling since it was a companion of Joyboy and therefore it was probably excited/happy to see him again. That being said, I don't remember it being in the manga.

Funny you should say that, because I just saw a theory talking about the One Piece world once had a Polar shift in its past. In the theory they mentioned that the Day/Night cycle is probably much longer than here on earth, simply because the One Piece world is significantly bigger and that From Luffy saving Coby, freeing Zoro, and meeting Nami in Orangetown was a single day, plus the entire Pre Timeskip was 2 months. They may have a 24 hour day, but those hours are longer than ours

I m glad to be riding this next big wave in peak fiction with you all! Think the “weakest members of the crew” don’t get enough credit for standing up for their captain. The Nami and Kaido scene made me think of Luffy standing up to Arlong for her, but this time she’s speaking up in his name. This series brings me to tears even during its happiest moments. I mean its like they said. This is exciting to see an 800 year old legend resurface in the form of luffy but also this is the "Trigger" for the story to completly change move forward. One piece is about to reach a whole new phase. I mean i think that low quality or poor pacing moments of the story are behind us. Its just going to be Peak from here on out.

I really like how cartoony Kaido looked at the end of 1069. He was so excited to finally be going all out...well until CP0 took it away. Also, I also think the anime nailed the tone of 1070, plus the VAs for Nami, Yamato, and Zuneisha did a stellar job in their respective moments.
