same here. i feel like he was both trying to taunt AFO and was also experiencing insane euphoria. it must have felt awful not being able to really help or save anyone when he lost his power. i like the wording in the manga translation a little better: "to be of service to others, what a joy!"

15:31 the manga only ended 2 months ago and this szn has been completed in terms of production for atleast 6 months so they couldnt have adapted any of the last 30 or so chaps, its a miracle they even managed to end it on chapter 398 which means they were really stretching out the planning process just to find a proper stopping point Basically yeh theres not alot of content left but also its not physically possible to adapt any of the manga content that had released in the last 10+ months

When Toga transforms into Uraraka she starts smiling and doesn't stop until the end of their scene. I love this detail, this plot, this characters, this serie, cant wait to see Deku fight animated. And interestingly, before we see All Might on the roof we see Tatooin Station, where it all started for Deku in the first episode.

At the start of things, being a hero like this without a quirk wasn’t much of an option, but desperate times call for desperate measures. He used a bunch of Class A quirks: Red Riot for the armor against All For Ones first attack. Blackwhip + Chargebolt for the Electric attack he launched against All For One. Cellophane to wrap him up. Sugarman + Shoot Style for the massive kick. Tsukuyomi for the defensive Cape. Pinky for the acid injection. Uravity and Ingenium for the Rocket Boosters. And you correctly called the flying birds and Tentacole.

15:40 I don’t know how many chapters are left to cover, but I know that there quite a bit more to cover. Specifically, there are things that were shown at the end that people seem to be forgetting has still been going on. In total, there were 8 battlefields. So far, we’ve resolved, or at least covered, at least 5 or 6. Even with the big stuff I know is coming, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get at least 12 episodes for the final season… and that’s probably if they want to keep it tight and neat

yeh 32 chaps but those 32 chaps are shorter than the avg weekly manga since Horikoshi was on an agreement to do shorter chapters to avoid hiatus the last 2 years of serilization so for the standard adaption those 32 chaps are more like 25ish in terms of content so gonna be interesting to see how they do it

Toga's death was so sad and unnecessary. She could have just walked away...no one would have ever caught her. And even if she wanted to save Uraraka...she didn't have to give all her blood, even half would have been enough for both of them. But the author just decided to kill her. What a shame...she's my favorite character from this anime.

No she couldn’t have, she was surrounded by heroes and even if we understand her way better now, she still murdered people. Unless she was willing to live in prison she would still be forced to live as someone other than herself. The whole tragedy of her character is that she didn’t have to turn out the way she did, but now that she has there’s no going back. So her options were keep living as someone she’s not, go to prison, or keep the 1 person who actually could reach her aside from twice alive.
