What a lovely old knife ! That is a strange design of screwdriver. I can't think why they shaped it like that unless, as you said, it's a special tool for something. Or maybe they made like that just because they could, lol.

Don't you hate those tools that don't want to come out? I've seen a tool for opening knives to save on torn nails.
