Whether it be something I already know but appreciate the reminder, or something that I didn't know at all. It's refreshing to hear and would be pretty neat in your other series as well. It was technically an unidentified shark, there were multiple attacks off the coast of new jersey in the summer of 1916 and they never caught the shark responsible or sharks for that matter

@@Velowise No, it was actually the Great White. They never even caught or found a Tiger Shark in the area after the attacks, but did find an 8ft great white and identified the bones inside as human. The other option is a bullshark, which many biologists believe to be the true culprit because attacks did occur upstream in fresh water. I couldn't even find a single biologist who even mentioned the tiger shark. The Smithsonian Magazine did an article on this years ago with zero mentions of a tiger shark. In conclusion, it wasn't a tiger shark that inspired the film.
