A great deal of eye appeal to the specimen, Lee. Very well sniffed out of that position, you'd mentioned the clay looked blue, maybe this "blue plug" clay spoken about by the old-timers, holding the heavier nuggets, and with the inclusions in your kind of specimen, I'm wondering if that's indicative of how the gold was formed, as compared to the white or grey "pipe" clay which to our thinking occurs from erosion and decomposition of quartz, that might more freely shed gold away from that what it had solidified with. Mere conjecture, happy to figure these out after finding one's fill, a clay mining permit may cost less than the alternative and filtered of gold impurities... (Shh, he's dreaming!!!) Cheers, G.👍

A lot of the time, Gold gets caught up in the clays no matter what colour. I dare say this was a part of what they were chasing in the area. Cheers Lee.

Hi Lee, great detecting l noticed when retrieving nugget the Avantree torus headphones sets the detector off as you close in on the coil l have the same issue. But overall very happy with them. Thank you for all you put into your videos for our enjoyment.
