I wish R* would let us save ability card loadouts, that way we can swap between each really fast and not switch ability cards individually. And so people don't abuse quick swaps constantly add a 1 to 2 min cooldown before swapping ability loadouts.

I fucking hate showdowns cause you have to keep switching your ability cards every time it's special edition or name your weapon. Preset load outs would be amazing so I could actually tolerate showdowns a little more. I'd have one for my main load out, and one for those modes where they limit your guns. And other ones for fun (I have all my ability cards bought and lvl 3)

OMG, YES!!! Such a pain to have to go the menu, select the card u want to switch, blah, blah, blah. And if ur in the middle of something before u realize u need to change something, ur almost always screwed. I use the exact cards he mentions in this video, but I like to swap Fool Me Once w The Unblinking Eye depending on what I'm doing, like tracking the legendary animals (the gold streak is much easier to see, especially in the daytime, and most especially in the Northwest snowy region). For my dead eye card I mostly use A Moment To Recuperate bc it really helps me save on tonics, but I do swap it out every now and then for Paint It Black, again, depending on what I'm doing.

Slow and Steady, Fool Me Once, Iron Lung, Strange Medicine. That's ultra defensive and if you use Special Health Cure and are stocked with Dead Eye tonics you will pretty much never die. Combine that with Bolt Action Rifle with Express ammo and you are pretty much invincible in both PvP and PvE.

The irony is that he's probably spending triple what you or I are on ammo which means more time spent buying ammo, too. It really doesn't make sense even from a lazy person's perspective. One shot to the dome is how it should be in a shooter. You're supposed to exploit enemy weaknesses if you have the skill to do so. He also uses aim assist though, so he might actually be bad. I can free-aim headshot an enemy on a moving horse with relative ease and the game is honestly more fun the better you are at it, so I'm not sure why he enjoys struggling to kill single mobs.

That build its a mid tier build, because the damage of winning streak its only significant after the 4th consecutive hit and without missing, but, it's great for shotguns, peak condition it's good, but if you are using fool me once you need a second defensive card or you will be dead before fool me once have enough stacks to work effectively or use tonics to keep you alive until it does

PIB ~ obvious Peak Condition ~ front load damage Iron Lung ~ Keep stamina high, mitigate damage NWO ~ more damage mitigation, prevent headshot winning streak isnt really needed in pve ive found, peak condition gives you enough damage to take npcs down fast. this is on PC without aim assist so maybe things are different on console. not sure if id use PIB if I already have aim assist/aim lock.

Either I got lucky, or that card & gun combo is just that damn good... I cleaned house, man. My jack of all trades loadout: Paint it black, never without one, strange medicine, fool me once. Lemat offhand, sawnoff right hand, rolling block shoulder, bow on back. I ride a turkoman. Strange meds and fool me once has saved my ass countless times, surviving the craziest of attacks like 6 flame shells or 3 Ex rounds, PiB is all around great for nearly every occasion for both pve and pvp as well as hunting, but you can swap out NWO for another card to suit your situation, and my turk is generally one of if not THE most balanced all-rounder great at everything horses ive ever had. Having the lemat in offhand and sawnoff in right hand allows for maximum potential fire rate with shotgun mode, and the sawnoff allows me to use incendiary shells when i need them. Rolling block for ranged pvp, bow for most hunting and midrange pvp, lemat for general pve and close range pvp, then shottys for close quarters. For pve and pvp in urban areas like towns ill swap out the rolling block for Lancaster.

Yes menus are extremely slow. When your set up on pve and a greifer comes along. I would be happy just a fast switch to one other build. Because of no fast switch of builds I try to remain able to fight greifers and pve at same time. Wish I didn't have to do that 😕

Quite an inspiration, the one that makes deadeye/Hawkeye last longer, the one that gives back deadeye on headshots, and the one where kills start to heal you. You can pretty much just stay in deadeye for a long time if your good enough to catch headshots most kills lasts the whole fight.

Just run slow steady with all deffense cards. Most players buying lvl 1 tonics means nothing to the wallet. As long as u arnt a god aweful shot most cases u will force opponets to shoot u more than u have to shoot them. It baffles most people when they realize offense cards like just winning streak dont actually lower the amount of bullets to kill with most guns but every card of def lets u take more rounds. Even a single card stops 1 hit kills to the body unless its a dedicated sniper. If u got buddies with most cards and guns test with each other. The only offense build ive personally ever struggled with as a tank is slippery bastard users. It becomes a coin flip at that point of whos shotgun hits who.

I am absolutely seething! I thought you were safe in camp when the flag flies. I had just loaded on the game into camp, there were 2 members of a posse riding round shooting at things in general presumably because nothing else was around. They spotted me mounted on my horse ready to ride out and lassoed me off it, so I broke free and that’s when they started! Over and over again roping me and dragging me around in my camp. There is another setup working just perfect for both pvp and pvp. I am a free roam pvp player fighting griefers at daily bases. SB, SS, Peak and Never without one. Or SB, Gunslinger, SS and unblinking. NPC’S no matter what kind are using shotguns and other repeaters. Some are using Carcano, but easy to deal with. No tonic needed. If you are using Carcano with short scope that is. Just find this as a good build overall. Yes ofc every card in the game can be countered. But if you play it smart, you can make sure bows, throwing weapons etc don’t get to close enough. If they do never without one will save you, just make sure you are a good shot.

Great video. Helpful advice. I frequently run many of these cards. All of them from time to time. I still cannot break away from NWO so that limits my flexibility. I would like to utilize that spot but I still feel like NWO saves me in PVP enough to warrant the spot. PVE I never use it and do agree with what you have here as being a top tier setup. Im still using SnS, Fool me once. Peak, & Landons. Using duel wield Navy's then switching to a bolt still drops tonic 3 guys while you eat bullets. SNS takes care of that first head shot so no need for NWO. Also SNS no bloom. Peak and Landons also stacks the damage. Ive been experimenting with winning streak but recently went back to Landons

I dont use dead eye perks I feel like its cheating. Not using it makes me better at overall combat I feel like the people who abuse the perk system are setting themselves up for failure they forget how to actually play the game and when an update hits they have to change everything

The only time I use dead eye is for fish and plants/collectables. Oh, and when it get way dark at night. I accidentally activate dead eye during shot outs, gets annoying.

Tbh my load out isn’t the best but: My sniper load out: Slow and steady, sharpshooter, fool me once, and iron lung It’s helped me a ton in fights, I personally like it a lot In showdowns I switch iron lung with paint it black, and I switch sharpshooter with never without one

The reason I hate painted black so much is because every time you get a kill it cuts off your dead eye and you have to redo your dead I losing precious time this is a game of seconds if you don't believe me keep playing in the longer you do or until you run up on somebody high-ranked like I am that didn't get that rank from killing squirrels you'll see

I use peak condition its not recovery ability card!This build is like 2 compact cards&1defense card.I think it's NOT so good for beginner's.Something else from the recovery ability cards its better.&After 40/50level it's 100% cool combo.Nice vid☆☆☆
