Few things are worse in RDO than being paid more gold for taking longer. Most games reward you for being skilled or quick but R* wants you to waste time on each mission so you play less overall

There really shouldn't be a tie to time at all. The way it is now, people stand around waiting. If you reward faster, then people rush the missions and ignore the gameplay. The only way to make it worth just playing the game and enjoying the gameplay is to just have a set reward. People who still want to grind out missions can blitz them if they want, but it won't drive people into building they're whole gameplay around it

Be cool if you had an option of cash or gold or a small mixture of both when selling wagons. $625 large long distance or 5.5 gold (example) or $312.50 & 2.75 gold (example). Also be good if you could do gold panning in rivers. Hit a little 0.1 gold now and then.

I usually just do legendary bounties and spend time killing enemies. One thing I did was tie Carmela and get on the wagon and use the machine gun to kill all the enemies! Once I’m done I turn her in and usually have around .36 nuggets and 218 dollars! I haven’t used my maps in a while so I’ll definitely use that! Awesome video haz!

For me it's daily challenges, bounty hunting, resetting challenge awards, and treasure maps. The max streak bonus is helpful and also the occasional $5 when Gold is on sale or $10 every now and then. Feel like it's good support especially if I keep logging in especially after a couple years.

It is worth to mention that you can find a map knifed to a tree at any time of day, at night it just much easier to spot. I have collected a lot o them in last 10 months, and a big part of them were collected during daylight And i can totally confirm that there are 3-days separated cooldown for both of events.

i saw a treasure map on the tree with a lantern in Lagras, as soon i grabbed it got ambushed by Nightfolk and got killed, and after spawning did not have the map in the inventory so be careful when you go to grab the map, it comes with an ambush sometimes. I did find one in the same session while playing the story mission when i was looting the enemies

@@Aducairiel hey just ignore the timer that apears on the screen it doesn't matter if you have 3minutes or 9 minutes left on that clock, when you accept the mission on the bounty board that is the moment the timer starts even though the game doesn't show you that, so check your real clock and spend 12 minutes doing the mission

People keep bringing up the trader role but for beginning players getting the initial $700 for the medium wagon and then the large wagon for however much more is much. That’s way too much money to be spending as a beginning player who can only do a culpable amount of jobs for $4 each. Start off with collector or bounty hunter. Bounty Hunter is an easy $100 every 30 minutes for a legendary bounty and wait time. Collector will make you great money off of sets regardless of the nerf. It’s money and enough to buy something worth buying like a weapon or outfit after a few sets of collecting. Hope someone will find this helpful

I've noticed a couple "repeat" maps taking me to the same location (though difference precise spot), like Diablo Ridge and Brandywine Drop. If you stock pile them, will you miss out on these repeats because Rockstar won't spawn a second Brandywine Drop map if you are carrying one already?

Ive always heard that if you’re holding onto a map, Diablo Ridge for example, and you happen to find the same map on a body, then it just combines the previous one you had. So it’s always best to do maps soon after you get them!

Thanks! Apologies about the late reply. You can hold one map (ex: brandywine) in your satchel and any duplicate brandywine will get sent to the post office. And when you use the one in your satchel you can collect the 2nd from the post office to go after it again.

I don't know dude I've been playing this game for about 20 days now a few hours a day, but on weekends when I had the time to do it I found that for gold, bounties were the easiest way to get it, as with a streak or 2x ( I missed a few days due to work and work fatigue) you can get about 0.4 ingots per bounty, depending on the time you have to turn it in. if you can get a General Daily between bounty targets all the better, but even if you just focus on bounties you get more bang for you buck in terms of gold.

Daily challenges, bounties and finding treasure maps is earning me around 6 gold bars a day. Before rockstar nerfed the gold I was earning 11 bars a day, so it's not all bad.

I find more looting at the moment, especially when doing bounty missions. Plus I go around the map finding treasure hunters to buy or rob from. I'm level 347.

You can get them by ranking up, completing gang hideouts, and completing levels in the Outlaw Pass, I think I’ve even gotten one from a stranger mission before but it required me to make a dishonorable choice.

Them changing the daily streak system is what finally got me to stop playing this game. Now I can enjoy so many other great games knowing that Rockstar is finally getting greedy with this one. I just started playing online after finally playing the standard game. My mind was blown by the single player. Online feels pretty slapped together. So far it has not been entertaining. I hope that is only because I’m new and penniless.

The timer on screen. Players think you need to wait until the last second on that. It all depends on how long it’s been since you started a mission. Not the timer that appears on screen.

Gold nerf wasn't that noticeable for me I got profit from this dlc and i bought the outlaw pass+prestigious bounty hunter licence + 21 gold bar lemat revolver skin In the beggining of the dlc i had 242 gold now i have 272 Going great Now there is nothing left worth to buy

I just got into rdo, i mean i bought and played the storry in 2018 but only starte now playing online. I already conpleted all main missions and it so boring now cuz the side missions pay so poorly. They really gotta add more single player content, also it makes no sense that the longer you take for a mission the higher the reward is.

i'm still dumb struck how posse members i join just sprint towards bounties and finish them as soon as possible. like dude come on u just increasing your grind ? relax and enjoy the mission and have some fun. 12min 0.32/ under 8min u get 0.08. with just an extra 4 minutes u could be doing the equivalent of 3 extra bounties onto your pay.

I really wanna spend 12 minutes on a bounty but sometimes when I’m doing one it says I have 18 minutes left then out of a sudden the time jumps down to 11 minutes like what the hell
