I think I remember you using VEGAS, the issue you're on about is an issue with VEGAS, even in the newest version. The fix is simple, but really dumb. Disable GPU Acceleration within VEGAS and future / past frames will stop flickering, or appearing at all where they shouldn't. You can find GPU Acceleration in Options > Preferences > Video > GPU Accerlation of video processing (Turn this from your GPU to off) After turning this setting to off, either restart vegas, or your PC, depends on which one fixes the issue, usually just relaunching vegas fixes this issue, in rare cases you may have to restart your PC to see the fix. I'm honestly hoping I won't have to retype this, or copy and paste it at any point, likes would be appreciated to get Jev to see this. Thank you :)

I think stuff like slide-cancelling makes the game more interesting, but I know a lot of people just straight up want everyone to be a perfectly even playing field, which means taking away options that require effort until the game is brain dead, and even then people will still complain because there will still be people better than them at the game. If a champion misses weight, they can still win the fight, but they lose their belt and part of their pay for that fight. Since Chimaev isn't a champion, he only has to lose some of the money he makes from this fight. He can still win the fight though.

Slide-canceling is literally a bug. I do think there should be a movement or some other mechanic that has that skill gap, but slide-canceling isn't it. It looks stupid, breaks controllers, and imo breaks the "immersion" or whatever even worse than bunny hopping ever did. Tbh tho I really just hate how stupid it looks.

Slide canceling just needs to be adjusted, the only issue I have with slide cancelling is, you can definitely feel the fatigue on your hands as you play which is probably why people would be happy if they took it out. If they incorporate other ways for movement then maybe it’d be a different story regarding the poll results.

I remember first picking up MW2019 after having not played since mw3 because of the jet packs etc, the bunny hopping was more of an issue than sliding. Adjusted to it but sliding is mainly only an issue from the sweatiest of the sweaty and when it’s lagging. otherwise it just feels good to slide canceling in general. make it less efficient or tactical idk but keep it.
