YES, it happened again, The Rock-0-Plane killed me, The long awaited sequel to Shaylers Fun Fair, 8 Minutes they left us on.. 8 MINUTES!
Hello, Welcome back to another vlog here on the channel with myself, Si, Cooper. Haslemere was the destination for this weekend, Shalyers Funfair are back out for 2021 with a wonderful family fair with some unique machines including the Rock-o-Plane, Standing Paratrooper, Grass Cutter Twist and a lovely set of Dodgems, Plus sides like a Funhouse & Mirrormaze Oh and a little coaster... What a fantastic sight it was to see the locals out supporting the fair, It was so busy!
We had an amazing time, SO GOOD TO BE BACK! The first stop was the paratrooper, Not many standing models left in the UK, 3 that i know of .. Then the Grass cutter twist, Peter Shaylers done so much work on it over the winter and lockdown. Then we did the super duper dodgems and then the DREADED ROCK-0-PLANE - SORRY for the swearing, something takes over and I cant contain my F words. Great value fair, 2 tickets a ride so £2, Something for everything, Really good family event for the whole family.

Omg 8 minutes with sycho si on the rocko's you had me in tears so funny dave you know that si was never gunna not rock it!. Shaylers is an awesome fair, love the lorries, sad to see they replaced their old Reverchon Privilege cars for Reverchon Furyo ones, Furyos are old now though lol. That Rock-o-Plane is made by the same factory that made that old Loop-o-plane (Eyerley). The paratrooper is made by ARM I think (who also make Superbowls), not sure who made the Super Twister, the paybox and cars have elements of PWS Rides but I'm not sure. That gaff lad spinning the rock-o-plane cars while loading up had me in stitches! lol! Si being mean again and rocking it!!!! You looked so ill after coming off that, just pull the brake on and it loops the circle of the wheel which isn't as bad as the random movement of the pod without the brake on.

Just like to say top job for going on the ride, what a classic, and as you say not many left in the UK. Never done it myself.. 2nd, appreciate Coops mention for Rowlands fair at Cranbrook, Exeter. Did their great rides the weekend before, wasn't too bad, a bit muddy. Fast forward, the guys have been working their socks off getting the rides out of a boggy field. Diggers, the works to help. Total nightmare, never seen anything like it. I hope they can return when the ground is good again. Great showmen ❤️👍😁
