yeah you're right. I've kind of come to terms with this by thinking about posting stuff as a way to realise what needs to be improved before publication of whatever I'm working on - someone I can only really see that once it's posted to my few followers : )

It’s only because you’ve seen this piece of work since its birth. You’ve stared at it in the exact same context for so long, and since you created it start to finish, you notice all the little mistakes as soon as it’s in a different place. Don’t worry, 99.9% of people won’t even notice. The tiny fraction of those who do are just the people who appreciate your creations so much that they watch it multiple times or spend a enough time looking at it to pay attention to the tiny details. Don’t sweat it, the mistakes you spot won’t detract from anyone’s enjoyment of your beautiful art
@JohnRowley2 жыл бұрын
@@everyonegetselfears1444 Yea, you're right of course but still, kekeflipnote so tapped into a shared experience here - we kind of know it doesn't matter but the desire to put the mistake right is strong! It's interesting because that desire is often destructive - the same desire that can make you overwork a piece and ruin what was good about it in it's more flawed state

Protip: Keep a list of the mistakes you tend to make or the things you always want to make sure you do (like add a signature) and go through it before you post. You won't catch everything, of course, but it can cut back on the need for reposts. Also, it helps to let the art sit for a few days before you post so you can see it with fresh eyes.

The actual life of a tortured artist, I’m not making insults towards painters, animators or digital artist but the life of a artist is fickle to behold because just trying to “finish” your creativity is nearly impossible. To say something is finished can be very difficult know when you decide it’s completed to present to a captive audience of interested onlookers that will always criticize you at any angle at your art but it’s always something that a tortured is afraid to take because the need to be perfect to their moderate standard is a must to be completely fulfilled from there work of time. One day I will see your face perfection so that I can capture the shiny radiance of the natural glow of skill and love that will flow like a river to the eyes of onlookers and the weary.
