Watering the farm animals sucks in the winter. It freezes overnight. And it’s not what you currently test at. It’s what do you want or strive to be. Do those characteristics. YOU are in charge of YOU. No Kim, you are NOT born that way. Just reorganize and consolidate the gardening clutter. Just a little bit of work goes a long way. You have time. Figure out what, if anything, in your daily process or chores you could do better at? You want to set the automated coffee maker timer in the morning? Insta-pot timer something in the morning so it is ready?

I really feel for y’all up there because I’m a Texan and I really like the cooler weather in the fall and winter here in my area but not so much when it’s icy and cold. Here in north Texas we only get very cold just for a little while but sometimes it can get down to the single digits but not for long. Something to add is that I haven’t seen a frost yet.

Frost in my area only arrived Dec. 1st. Very late. Bulbs were sprouting. I had yellow potatoes, with 14”-16” of green growth. Our first frost put the stop to that. I’m against PNW coastal mountains, and it’s been balmy mid 20s since…. You, are doing well! Keep a fire stoked. Error on the side of safety. Always. As hard as this may sound! Put $$ away toward investments. ( a little , committed each week )This is critical!! Please find that extra, make it a most important habit! You will think back to appreciate it. This is what I believe is/was the strategy going forward that’ll make life comfortable. I loved your worm video. There is most certainly more happening under the soil, and underneath the water than one knows. ( I’m a scuba diver also), and we could all benefit when cultivating :) anytime, anywhere. Strong commitment in your values and morals will guide your family. Viewers. And worms to do better and better… every day.

Hello from Alberta, Canada, last week my boiler went down, we had a cold snap -20, where you need to have your vehicle plugged in. I had to wait two days for a plumber, so no heat, it was brutal, nice to have had it fixed so two things, buy a toque (beanie) a large part of your body heat escapes thru the top of your head, and buy some mittens, your hands need to function, so keep em warm!

Summer is here! 30deg c in temperate mountain Australia today although we can get -5 winter mornings. I'm welcoming the heat to grow my young food forest, I just picked my first peach!!but I love the cooler weather. Love your vlogs thanks for sharing🌻🌻🌻

I was over winter when we got our first day under 40*. I hate winter. 3-4 more months of this crap. Bears get it. Sleep all winter, come out when it warms up. I should have been born a bear. 😐
