I recommend you should take the newer one as long as it’s working properly and you like it then I suggest you take it pretty good choice but for my case, I would probably never take the yellow arm or the ACX

The exact same happens were I work and operators that have less seniority than me always tell me the “worst parts” of what ever truck is up for bidding. But they usually just want me to refuse it so they have a chance at getting it

Seniority is overrated. Trucks should be awarded on meritocracy. We have tons of senior drivers at my yard that ain’t worth a damn. Conversely we have tons of drivers with less seniority that work late every day, kill their routes and are overall better drivers. Best trucks should go to the best drivers period

i feel the same way. where I work I guy with the most seniority gets the new truck every time and honestly he’s off more than he works and the management always overlooks the ones that come in early and stay late busting their asses. But always complain when our trucks are down for repairs
