I'm a total penny pincher, but I splurge on beds and sofas. They collect so much ick with daily use and they get worn out. So much time is spent on them, comfort is key. Also, spend a little extra and get a leather sofa (genuine leather, not faux/bonded leather that peels). No more need for slip covers, you can just wipe up any messes. Wipeable sofas are a game changer!

You can find great sofas at the thrift store. We like to shop at thrift stores in the bougie neighborhoods, because items are either new like, new, and most of the time high end. We found a Lazy-boy sleep sofa and Pottery Barn solid wooden pedestal dinner table. Know the specific days they have shipments and discounts and you’ll save so much!
