Have been singing these hymns for over ninety years. I was born in 1927 and have my life as a small boy before I was ten years old. I remember the occasion perfectly. It was at the close of a gospel service on the 31st of January 1937 when the closing hymn was "Just as I am". I am now in my ninetyeighth year. I'm housebound but with much to be thankful for. A loving family, church friends and carers. Thank you for this collection of old hymns that have always been part of my long life. I can relax with these at any time of the day or night and with similar selections on my Kindle. How technology has improved especially in the last few years.

Her smile was warm, not just on the surface, but deep inside, like she was offering me a glimpse into a world I thought no longer existed for me. She saw through my armor. She didn’t push or try to fix me-she just listened, patiently, as I unfolded the years of pain. Teresa didn't tell me to forget my past or erase my scars. Instead, she showed me that healing wasn't about forgetting. It was about understanding, about learning how to live with the pain without letting it control me. She taught me to believe in myself again, to trust that love wasn’t a wound but a way to grow. She didn’t try to replace the love I’d lost; she just gave me the space to rediscover who I was beyond the hurt. Her patience and kindness became my anchor, her belief in me like a light guiding me out of the darkness. Slowly, I started to heal-not because I was “fixed,” but because I had found someone who showed me how to embrace my brokenness and still be worthy of love. Teresa’s love didn’t erase the past, but it made the future feel possible again. With her, I felt alive. I felt like I had a reason to hope again. Meeting her wasn’t just a turning point-it was the moment I realized I could heal, I could love, and I could move on. And for the first time in years, I believed that my heart could be whole again.!!!

4 days to 2 years ago, I had a stroke, 9 days before my 74th birthday.I'd had a very healthy lifestyle working with no sick days in the health sector, and I retired at 62 years. It was a fight to stand and walk. Today, I'm getting to walk with a stick,slowly I'm grateful for being alive. God saved me from death.I'm grateful,extremely thankful.

I had an accident on 26 June 2024 and I was amputated my right. I can't do much things like I did before. I have much to be grateful for my loving family, my congregational members and my friends who are more loving and I feel strong to soldier on my new reality and realized that I should not ask why me but instead I just stop and think about lessons this accident has taught me.
