This song was written by Horatio G. Spafford in 1873 and composed by Philip Bliss in 1876. I've always enjoyed playing it when it's sung during congregational service. I can remember my mother leading this song with conviction and dynamic notes. I realized as I sat down to record this that I don't actually sing it, I only play it. Even still I had to record it. I still enjoy playing it as one of our church's song leaders sings it and reminds me of those days.
I used my Michael Kelly electric guitar in this video. I don't get anything if you click on this link. I just really like this guitar and am sharing if you're interested. www.michaelkel...

This is the electric I play in church all the time and it's a great economic guitar if you're just starting out. amzn.to/3VEX2Tk
You can also get the amp with the guitar which is what I did. The amp you hear in the video is this amp. It's a great amp actually, especially for the price I paid. amzn.to/3RGyc4i
I use a Samson condenser microphone with a pop-filter. I didn't get mine together but here is a link to a combo of both. amzn.to/3XvkmWl
The camera I used for this video was a Canon camcorder. amzn.to/4biEhLs
