Everyone who reaches to this stage is a winner in my opinion! Doesn't matter who came third or fourth or even first, they all have great stories and amazing speaking abilities!!!

The real winners return and try again and again. It is just a step in the process and a stage of the achievement towards the success. The journey is the victory. Like she said in her speech she is living without being so cautious so as not to have ever lived. She risked and she gained knowledge and experience and that is a victory.

Loved this speech. Everyone who made it to this stage is a winner. I like what I read in the comments. Real Toastmasters do not do it to win, i'd modify, they do it to share their story in the hopes that it will teach somebody out there something.

Great message and delivery! Alot of us carry way more emotional scars than physical. And most of the time, because we "turn around", no one is there to tell us "it is what it is, it aint what it aint". We're "still standing" everyone!

No one say who should have won or shouldn't have because in my opinion all of them were great and real toast masters don't do it to WIN they do it to teach others a lesson

I love that quote, if you live your life without failing then it means you were either too cautious and didnt live at all or you just failed..... it is what it is and it aint what it aint

Such a life changing video DESPITE only contaning a few minutes of video time. Me and my family have changed so much after this video, me and my wife got back together, the kids are happy again, I have gotten my job and house back. I, truly thank you for making such monumental, life changing future altering youtube video for me to coincidentally stumble upon, no- not coincidentally, Ive been led here by FATE, BY DIVINE INTERVENTION. THIS SANCTIFIED PROPERTY MUST NOT BE FOR MY VIEWING, YOU- YOU HAVE MY EXALTED GRATITUDE, THANK YOU.

I will agree with most of the comments too She deserves at LEAST the second prize, if not the first, so does Sherry. The one who won may hv had a lot more theatrical stances but contentwise she takes it. This is whats unfair about toastmasters

Hey Ozzie, always good to ask. With 300,000 Toastmasters I get tons of requests. I wish I could take the time to watch all of them. It seems like an easy request as it is only 5 minutes, but it is the hour of feedback based on my 20 years that people really want. That is why I created Stage Time University so people can affordably access 5 of the best speaker coaches in the world for $39 a month. Hope you can see our feedback is worth much more than that.... it is a no brainer. I will tell you this. Focus on getting to 100 speeches as fast as possible. You will learn along the journey. Hope it helps!

Yes your recommendations help more than you know! I will be doing a drop-in visit to an improv club next week because of your videos. Thank you so much for your reply, you’ve already done enough by sharing your knowledge and it is greatly appreciated!
