As a book coach, I love the emotive way she communicates her story

I got tears and laughter listening to her speech. It's like watching a beautiful inspiring movie in a concise form. I believe so many people could relate to some of her story. Congratulations for Turning Around and for getting your points across effectively.

This was the speech that should have won 1st place. I was there, 8th row. This speech is so well constructed, the build up to the end took it to the top.

maybe it is because she misspoke three times (repeating phrases) and it sounds like she had one grammar problem

She can do better. But yes, I do love her speech more than the 1st place.

@@mazonce In what way could she do better? Please clarify.

Yea honestly I think this and the first speech was quite close. I feel Ramona's speech won because she does have a more powerful voice and projection, also I do feel her theatrics and themes all have a very logical and tied together structure. Afterall, the marking criteria is very specifics on certain aspects, so honestly, the audience's favorite may not necessarily be the winner, but rather who can tick off more of the technical aspects on the marking sheet. Overall, I love both speeches.

Champion-caliber speech. I connected with hers, but not with the 1st place. There is something about speaking from the heart, rather than acting.

I was in the fifth row. I think she should have won... and she may have if she had not the misfortune of drawing the first speaking slot. It's also worth mentioning she didn't speak English eight or nine years ago.

Those were the words from your heart that run through your entire speech. you were truly true to yourself sir and it has brought an impact on my life "to follow one room" that is to be myself. Thanks for reminding me to work on it to improve upon and go ahead in my life journey, to be an inspiration for the true wealth of the world that is humanity and more specifically the "Youth" to value the gift of life and to bring joys, serenity, and peace in each individual on this planet.

Zifang Sherrie Zu's speech at the 2018 World Championship of Public Speaking, titled "Turn Around," was pretty good. She used words that got our attention and told stories that made us feel something. But sometimes, her speech felt a bit messy. It would have been easier to understand if she organized it better. She looked confident on stage and made eye contact with the audience, which was cool. Her hand movements and body language helped us understand what she was saying. One thing she could have done better was to speak more slowly sometimes. She talked so fast that it was hard to catch everything. In the end, Zu's speech was impressive, with strong talking and body skills. If she had organized it better and slowed down a bit, it could have been even better. But still, she deserved 2nd place at the championship.
