They have mastered the art of acceptance. So if u plan to manipulate them or threaten to leave their life... guess what? They don't care. You can walk out of their life and they will open the door for you. And the best part when someone asks them if "they are ok" because you left their life. They are going to use that magical phrase "it is, what it is." I love this song. I hope it goes viral.

"Take me back to the kid I was, back before i needed to believe in anything." That's a great line and hit hard. I'm 40, and I can't remember what it was like being a kid anymore. I struggled with drugs and alcohol for 20 years, though. I've been clean for 6 years, but it did a lot of damage, unfortunately. Love the song. Keep up the good work. I know most can't remember, but when I think back, my memories start around 18 with some glimpses of growing up peppered about. I've done a lot of wrong in this life, but thankfully, Jesus took all that to the cross with him. Even though I may not feel deserving, I know I'm forgiven, but as the song says, "it is what it is," and I say that a good bit these days.
