A girl I cared deeply about and frequently tried my best to visit and make happy. When I started to listen to your music it was during the rougher stages of our relation. And your music…man, your music was like the secret puzzle piece in life. Never have I listened to a artist who’s lyrics I could relate so well with. It was like you were saying everything I was feeling, saying everything I was experiencing, not just from my relationship with her but from all the past heartbreaks, all the loneliness, the depression. Your words were hitting like Mike Tyson every time I listened. “Speak that shit Softheart” is what I would say sometimes when I listened to your songs while hitting my blunts in the moonlight or early morning sun…I pushed your music to others and they loved it but really I don’t think any of them actually understood the appreciation I had for your music. How is it that someone can accurately put all your feelings and thoughts into beautiful songs, it was like you was dragging the deepest thoughts and emotions I had trouble saying aloud and putting it into song…whenever I needed help explaining how I felt sometimes I just threw on one of your songs or shared the song with whoever it pertained to at the time. Needless to say you’re amazing and I hope you continue to grow and I’ll continue to support you in your career. This day and going forward I still will be bumping Softheart and singing alone in my car at night on drives home or when I’m hotboxing the whip.
