when you end 1997 you shound watch berserk 2012 ending it will make more sense then 1997 and how guts and casca survived or just read the manga because the 1997 ending is just cut off in half and you wont know who saved them

The movies and memorial edition are bad. But the one good thing they did was that they show what happens after the eclipse. You should watch the ending of the final movie and then watch 2016/2017 anime again. But nothing beats the manga.
