Was literally just talking to a friend on why someone doesn't scan the original manga pages as they're released, use AI and train it to animate exactly like 1997 berserk, effects and voices and all. Then as the comic is released, use the animation style/samples, render the new manga pages using the 97 style, and just make it look, sound and feel as clean as possible. No, it's not going to be perfect. But at least then all you whiny asses will shut the fuck up already about "this adaptation STINKS!!". It's been almost 27 years. The perfect adaptation isn't going to come out.
