Was literally just talking to a friend on why someone doesn't scan the original manga pages as they're released, use AI and train it to animate exactly like 1997 berserk, effects and voices and all. Then as the comic is released, use the animation style/samples, render the new manga pages using the 97 style, and just make it look, sound and feel as clean as possible. No, it's not going to be perfect. But at least then all you whiny asses will shut the fuck up already about "this adaptation STINKS!!". It's been almost 27 years. The perfect adaptation isn't going to come out. Remember, we're talking about the Director of Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and Blade Runner (1982). I could mention Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit), but I think Ridley Scott would bring more seriousness to the work and create an aesthetic similar to the video, which is what every Berserk fan would like to see. Я бы лучше доверился FX - их недавняя работа Сëгун - почти дословно следует первоисточнику. Ни одного чёрного персонажа для галочки, ни одного гея для повесточки. Сильные женские персонажи реально сильные а не мерисьюшные и точно так же страдают от своих ошибок как и мужские. Короче FX выглядит для меня пока что идеальным выбором для экранизации Берсерка.

She's a spaniard gypsy, with straight, dark brown, caucasian hair with high porosity, hindu facial features (gypsies came to Spain from India around 400 years ago) and olive toned skin. She looks exactly like the gypsy women from my neighbourghood. Or like Esmeralda from the Hunchback of Notre Dame, if you want to imagine a very specific example of her looks IRL. Berserk environments are based in a mix of Spain, France and Ireland. It's set in Europe. Different landscapes and famous buildings of Spain, France and Ireland are featured in the whole series. If you lived in one of these countries and studied European history at school, you would recognize them immediately. The author didn't even changed the name of the Irish island where the main characters meet the fairies in the manga. He used the original name. You can find the island on google maps. It's a real place. He did his research really well. All the landscapes, buildings and ethnicities who lived in Europe in the Middle Ages are spot on his work. This is the reason why I have a special and close connection to Berserk. It's like the author is speaking to my mind. A bunch of my childhood memories come when I read this manga or watch this anime. I feel at home...because the story is actually located at my real home. I literally cried every time the characters destroyed Spaniard historical buildings in the manga in the middle of battles😭
