We all knew this would happen once we got a good baseline around Luka. Kidd has crafted a great team around him of dependable guys which only opens up Doncic's potential; less being gassed from over use, less being beat up fighting for possessions and space, more impact to his incredible playmaking skills. The initial games at the start of this season were clearly working out the kinks of the team and deepening chemistry and teamwork, ball movement, playmaking. And people have been talking shit about Klay SO MUCH but I feel like it's his presence and insight as a 3 and D great that is helping the role players step up so well. He may not be performing his best but I don't doubt a moment in my mind the role players have been coming to him for advice and picking his brain, as almost everyone's defensive numbers and 3pt percentages are up.

Yeah, he's off the ball more and the turnovers have exploded. You have at least 6 guys bringing up the ball at different times and the result is each of them getting turnovers. Maybe it's a net positive, but I'm not sold. 25 turnovers against Memphis. 21 against Portland. Not excited about seeing what it is tonight and hope they can overcome it.
