Tommy’s store is amazing. I have never seen such a massive collection of so many manufacturers. This would be the place to shop for everyone who collects. His prices seem reasonable.

It's a total shame but cursive writing was eliminated from our school curriculum. The justification is that in a digital world people recognize and process printed text better. Now a whole generation can not even sign contracts or cheques. Beautiful writing is an art to be proud of.
@vickiolson11982 жыл бұрын
@@nanderson8286 I know, I was sick when I heard schools were not teaching it anymore. That lost skill will effect our future and our history as who is going to be able to read those hand written letters that were written in history, where we have gotton so much insight as to what war is really like for soldiers and civillians, etc.

I’m going to tell you a little story about the name of my daughter. We had been considering Elisabeth Cristina or Sofia Rose. We were in the labor room and had not made up our minds. From the moment we walked it we were besieged with a Liz, a Beth, a Lissey , an Elizabeth , thru out the day there were at least 6 different people with a variety of names to do with Elisabeth. I took the hint and named her Elisabeth Cristina. Maybe you should name your daughter Daisy….just a thought.

Elizabeth (or Elisabeth) is such a classic name. It's not trendy or faddish and it certainly does have a lot of nicknames. It's a name that has been passed down in my family as a middle name except for me, it's my first name. My Great-grandmother, my mother, me, my daughter, and two of my granddaughters. Wow, I just realized that's six Elizabeths!

I wonder when he sells his pieces where does he find his replacements? His store his huge! What a business! And he still has his booth too? 🤯 It's all so interesting to me!

WOW. Just WOW. I'm 73 & hav gone thru life never even realizing all that loveliness was out there. I wud pay an admission fee just to tour this shop. I hav accepted th fact that I am not worthy of owning ANYTHING that has any value. I hav had several pieces of Waterford that ended up being th most beautiful pieces of broken glass. TY kids & cats. Same w/Roseville vases. What I live w/now is Goodwill rejects. Also, living in Los Angeles CA all I cud think of is what that shop wud look like after 1 of our BIG earthquakes. TY for sharing. P.S. My daughter considered Daisy for her daughter's name but went w/Holly. Daisy is such a sweet, old fashioned name.

Daisies are my favorite flower! They seem happy...and they are easy to grow and last for a very long time when cut and cared for in a vase too. Hint for keeping cut flowers fresher longer.. always stip the stems of all leaves below the water line in your vase. ....add an aspirin or drop of bleach in the water in your vase. Cut your stems at an angle in a basin while you hold them underwater...add to your vase right away to avoid getting an air bubble They will last for weeks as long as you keep adding water

Just saw this video. When you were looking at the dog teapot I saw the owl cookie jar next to it. My mom received the same jar for a wedding present in 1953. Unfortunately it has a big chip I believe in the cap. I looked it up once several years ago and it was going for $100 at that time. My sister now has it since our mother broke up her home about 10 years ago. It was really cool to see it in an antique shop.
