Jooheon was in Who do you love. He was the first guy in the video, you probably didn't recognize him because he sang in that song! He is officially a rapper but he's proven on several occasions to be a very good vocalist too. Monsta X's rapline I think it one of the strongest raplines in Kpop. They both can spit fire, they're so distinct, yet they both work so well together. Also you should totally check out Monsta X's Shoot Out. That song also has a similar & deably sins theme going on. Idk if this was a continuation on it but its possible.

Jooheon, the one you don't remember from WHO DO U LOVE, was the Michael Jackson, the one who opened that song. He is the main rapper of Monsta X (one of only two rappers), and he very VERY rarely sings (even though his voice is epic). From now on you'll hear very little singing from him in the music videos you'll react to. It's only really in the collabs with Western artists that he sings (like in WHO DO U LOVE and Play It Cool with Steve Aoki). His rapping is fire though, and I'm not exaggerating when I say he's one of the best rappers in k-pop^^ And you're right, the rapline definitely has distinctive voices. They compliment each other so incredibly well, and they do a lot of back and fourth like this. I promise you'll love them! Recommendations: - Shine Forever - Dramarama - Play It Cool w. Monsta X definitely has more of an edm/grunge concept. They have very hard and in your face songs most of the time and I really like this style of music so it’s probably why they’re my ult group. Who Do You Love DEFINITELY took Monbebe (their fandom name) by suprise. We were all shook. It was such a change of style from what they usually did. We were all also very shook by the fact Jooheon sang throughout the entire song because he’s the main rapper of Monsta X (and an AMAZINGLY talented rapper at that)

Few points that need to be said : - The "forgotten guy" is Jooheon, main rapper but also a quite talented singer (check out their cover of Versace on the Floor) lately he has been doing much more singing parts in their songs that's why you might have not recognized him. He is also quite talented in aegyo (acting cute), and when he's doing it unlike many other men it's not really cringy. - The flag, yes it *was* their logo, was, it was their last song with this logo. Starship (their agency) made a new logo for them and also an alternate one for their fan, the MonBebe. (If you ever want to pronounce it search for it unless you want to be lashed XD, like when ppl call them monster x instead of Monsta X) Now for new songs to react from them : - Dramarama, a bit different than their usual style, a bit calmer and with more vocal parts but i think will love it and might need to pause a lot to share how much you appreciate the editing. - Beautiful, the name of the song speaks by itself and the mv go from Monochrome to Colored back and forth for nice eyes pleasure - Hero (rooftop version), filmed with drones on a heliport, with day shots and night shots you need to appreciate it ! And a bit of consideration of them who had to dance with barely any music (all they had was their phones that were hardly hearable due to the wind) and for Wonho who had to take medicine for his heights fear to be able to dance. Warning : You might feel attacked in this one tho. Additional one, the duo Wonho + Hyungwon live version of From Zero in "Beautiful in Seoul". Quite nice vocals and additional content ;)

I just got back from their concert like 1 hour ago and I'm still shook to the core. Some of my fav songs are Hero, Dramarama, Beautiful and Shoot Out. Hi Ben! I was a little nervous when I saw your 2nd reaction to MX was Alligator haha because of how different it is from Who Do U Love. I know it can throw people off. MX are known for having a very intense and hard-hitting sound (in their title tracks at least). I think another song of theirs which has a m/v and is most similar to Who Do U Love is Play it Cool. Incidentally, it is also a collab with a western artist, in this case Steve Aoki, and the m/v version is also entirely in English. So I would suggest that one if you're looking more for the sound that originally attracted you to MX. My personal favorite is Beautiful, and I think it's a nice in-between of the two you've seen so far. And yes, as everyone has already commented, the rapper you mentioned is Jooheon, and the one whose voice you actually complimented the most in Who Do U Love (can't remember what you said exactly, but something along the lines of "he's really feeling it"). The other rapper (I.M.) is actually the one who had little to no part (supposedly he's in the chorus, but he didn't have any individual lines). I'm sure many people have already suggested this, but a well-loved live vocal performance of theirs is their cover of Versace on the Floor. I recommend it for some high notes! Also I absolutely LOVE their Japanese songs, and I recommend Spotlight and Living it Up (and the videos have SMOKE oooh). Sorry for the essay, I was just super excited to see you react to them! Went to their concert last night and it was like nothing I've ever experienced (although, I feel like all of us were all extra hyped up that night but just ugh, it was amazing) I.M. en Jooheon's rap is one of the best I've ever heard as well. Omg yes Monsta X!! You should also check out their song Shoot Out (it came out b for Alligator but also has small references to the 7 deadly sins) And you will probably love their cover of Versace on the Floor!! Also yess I love how of all the animals they chose they used an Alligator to represent their meaning! Actually it's pretty cool/unique that they used an Alligator. The alligator is supposed to represent the possessiveness in a relationship or a hard headed determination of getting what they say want. The members had this concept with the fact in mind that "alligators once they clamp on their prey will not let go no matter the push or oull" Or basically when they have their eyes set on something they will see it to the end

Alligators is about how badly they want their fans' love, and that they will never let go (like an alligator's jaw.) This is clearly an expensive video, but it is not my favorite comeback of theirs. Their latest full length album is also my least favorite of theirs, but it's only because their discography is SO INCREDIBLY outstanding that my standards for them are extremely high. Jooheon Actually got the MOST lines in Who Do You Love lol...while I.M. had none. I think one of my fave title tracks from them is Destroyer, but it's hard to choose since all of their songs are just SO GOOD. I'm glad you loved it and I can't wait to see your next video!
