I don't know what is more beautiful and precious: the way you guys lovingly transform people's houses or the way Dave lovingly stares at his wife)) I'll never get tired of seeing this! On this Valentine's Day I wish the same joy to all of us! Please, God: let our men look at us the same way Dave looks at his wife, working with her - now, that's what I call the true LABOUR OF LOVE!🥰❤

I hope they like it. I feel like it doesn't have as much character as they would have liked. And they removed the wall to not be separated from the kids playing, but now the kids are hidden by another wall.

nah her youngest is three so she at least has about four to five years to play and the older one can use the big door if need be

@anniehovsepian61732 жыл бұрын
@@LateNightSummerRain I agree when I saw that door I was thinking the same thing they're not going to be three and five forever and within a couple of years at least the older one is going to outgrow that space. Too small too cramped that was a major mistake and a waste of space that could have been better utilized.

I agree. Let's put the kids under the stairs. They gave up a playroom and a toilet to make a mega kitchen?

I would never get rid of my half bath in the play room. Now kids, and guests, have to go to master or upstairs.

But I don't understand, if they weren't sure if they would like the hidden playroom, why didn't they just ask them?

You never ever plant trees that close to house. In a few years they'll have to cut them down and have them dugout because they won't be messing with the foundation.

The Harry Potter nook under the stairs is not a playroom. The tiny table is not a dining room and they lost a powder room, how is that an upgrade?
@TourPace2 жыл бұрын
Well, considering what they had before, it's a lot better. There's only so much you can do with such a small area. They made the best of it.

@LetLane3 жыл бұрын
I like the kitchen, but now guests will have to use the upstairs bathroom. The play area is tiny! A custom area like that is not good for the long term. Maybe it could convert to a pet area later? The table is so small. A rectangular dining table parallel to the storage they built would add bench seating for meals. A custom, removable fabric tent that attached to the underside of the table would have made a cool, temporary play area for the children. Mine love making tents!

I am sorry but I think Jenny should have listened to Dave on this one. This is not good. The exterior isn't cohesive. The kitchen is way too modern for that style of the house. I'm trying to see the good in this but I just can't justify losing a playroom and bathroom.
