The intensity, tension , nervousness of the situation was at its peak. Gukesh being the unstoppable force up until now with the score of 8.5/9. Abdusattarov, the rapid world champion, also bulldozing his way through the tournament. The titans met at the crucial time as their results would greatly influence the chances of their country to win the gold. It boiled down to the matter of keeping their nerves and it turned out to be a major heartbreak for Gukesh. Could this be a onset for a new rivalry among l the two youngsters? We could only but appreciate these upcoming talents and continue to support them.

There is a big battle among youngsters, they all want to become the supreme leader of their generation. Gukesh, I discovered him in May 2021, I think he is best among the Indian youngsters. I was like, why all the media attention is on Pragg, Arjun or Nihal but not on Gukesh. Now he proved himself. In Biel, just before the olympiads, Gukesh beat Abdusattorov and Keymer and lost to Esipenko, Esipenko being still young but also experienced since he played in Wijk An Zee, Tata Steel twice. In Biel, Abdusattorov drew against Keymer. He also drew with him here in the olympiads. So, we will see what Gukesh will do against Keymer in the last round. Gukesh is becoming 2700+ for sure after the olympiads. Abdusattorov and Arjun can also cross 2700 depending on their last round performance. Keymer, Praggnanandhaa and Sarin are following them behind. Then these guys will engage in power struggle against Ali Reza, who got already battered by top 10 in the last candidates.

What a fantastic game of chess! Great job by both the youngsters. Cheer up buddy 💟 It's only human to err. A loss doesn't define you rather it only pushes you to try harder than ever before. You'll always have another opportunity. It's never the end of the world. We all make mistakes at some point of our life and we will keep on making mistakes until we die cause that's what keeps us alive. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's exciting challenge. I'm sure you will yet again be amazing!❤️

I want to highlight the India's Captain gesture of support to his player, instead of showing angriness on Gukesh, he consolates him. It speaks tons about his qualities not only as a trainer but as a human being. In that moment the boy moral was the important, not the medal. Regards from Colombia.
