I am probably going to be hated for this comment but I my heart goes out to you and I mean well!! You have far too many accessible toys for the tinies.. Put at least half in cardboard boxes, store them away and every month or so swap them around.. Make yourself a "routine" chart .. Does not have to complicated.. Think about from breakfast onwards for the day.. You're doing fantastic, this time will pass and the babies will remember the love you give them, not the lack of spotless. xx

Rosie, you do NOT babble! I enjoy hearing your point-of-view and experiences as a mother and human being! No apologies needed as you share and I am sure more than just myself benefits from listening... You have a way of expressing yourself that appeals to me and makes me want to know more. (Of course, as you want to share more not that it is expected.) I had severe post-partum depression and a history of depression before that... I know what it means to be challenged in this way and I want to encourage you as you go along on the journey: feel people need to support one another as they are able and what is the purpose of having recovered from depression if not to share the hope? (This is what I ask myself.) Big hug for you and your brave and candid talking points. 🥰

And here are my two cents two the two dollars you’ll earn 😉: you are doing absolutely fine! You will have enough time to deep clean when your babies are older and you are not that overwhelmed, don’t bother with that. Do a good enough job for now, that’s perfect! And: sure you’re the one who picks up after the kids, but you are also the one who teaches them how to avoid messes and how to clean up, and also you can regulate how much they have in reach to create chaos with 🙂

This was such a satisfying clean! You did such an amazing job! I think I'm a naturally messy person, and I don't like messes. It sounds crazy, but it's so true. I work hard to clean up messes, and I'm sure I could make it easier on myself, but geez.. it's just hard. I need to declutter, but I get so overwhelmed with it. Loving your channel!

You took the right step with decluttering! "When your stuff causes you stress it's time for it to go." Yes!! The only other thing I would encourage you to do to make life more manageable is to Instruct your kids to help put toys away. Obviously when they are little like this you help them but when your daughter was sitting next to you she could have put a few books away. Teaching them where things go from a young age with gentle reminders to clean up whrn they are done an activity will help them naturally put things away.

You asked about what kind of videos your viewers like... As for me, I am open to most types but like what I have seen of yours! Music is okay, voice-over is good (after all, you speak well!), or a combination. If you ever want to do true sound (what is happening at time of recording) then I can go with that also. I realize that editing and adding sound can be rather time-consuming and technical, depending upon experience level... Okay with me for it to be easier for you to help reduce stress or whatever you need so you decide! Appreciate your asking but I like what you say and do so I am happy! -- Have to say I loved it when the baby made off with the vacuum! What sweeties your children are!-- I am easily overstimulated and do many things to compensate and keep calmer than I normally would. So many are not possible with small kids in the home. The one thing which stands out in memory (when I was a young mother) and even now is decluttering so that my major visual "read" of home was and is cleaner, neater and much more easily maintained. It also helped me not to buy duplicates (didn't know what I had as I couldn't see it) and to be able to find what I needed quickly (usually!) -- partly a result of discrete areas for particular functioning. Well I digress but appreciate your sharing so much.-- Hugs!

Sorry for the onslaught of commentary from me, but I know comments are good for the algorithm, so I let myself get chatty. No need to ever reply, lol. But since you asked, I love this format and content, though I have to admit I spend a lot of time just looking for the dogs. Soooo cute, especially the little fluffy one. 🥰 Just an idea to take or leave - I suspect it's a "leave" for most people 😂 - I struggle with being overstimulated too, and never know where to start in those moments. But todo lists stress me out even more. What I discovered this past week was that a flowchart helps soooooo much. I sat down and thought through it ONCE, so I never have to think about it again. It has things like "are there clothes in the dryer? If yes, fold them. If no, check the dishwasher. Are there enough dirty clothes for another load? If yes, do another load. If no, clean a bathroom." I made sure the paths through it would have me doing everything that needed to be done over the course of the week by varying each day, but would end after a reasonable daily amount of work. I also built in little tea breaks for longer sets of chores. 😁 The benefit for me is that I don't have to think about what I'm going to do, I just have to follow the path and answer yes/no questions. So it helped reduce my mental overwhelm. Just throwing this out as an alternative to lists in case it's useful to anyone.
@fifefreecleaning4 ай бұрын
Hey Laurel, loving seeing you over here supporting Rosie! Could I pretty please get a copy of your flowchart to try out, you could email it to me? 🙌 I loved the idea when you mentioned it last week and now you've explained it a bit more I can visualise how that would work so well x

This was such a refreshing great video! 🥹 you’re doing amazing btw and what you were saying about being messy doesn’t mean you like the mess is so true and I feel like a lot of people don’t get that people can easily make messes but there’s a lot of factors sometimes that can be why they don’t clean it up right away. I live with family as well so it’s a smaller space to work with all the toys and stuff which can make it harder to clean but I saw another comment mention toy rotation and that has helped me as well! This style of video helps me get motivated to clean but I like both styles a vlog type one & voiceover are both nice. Also I totally get that it’s hard to do voiceovers with kids my toddler is very loud as well lol, don’t feel too much pressure if sometimes the sound of toys or background noise from your kids get in the voiceover sometimes it happens and as moms we totally understand that and it’s okay! 💖 this was a great video & a lot of comforting topics you talked about.

My brain works the same as yours, I have ADHD with major initiation task issues. I hate when my house gets messy but my brain won’t let me tidy unless I trick it and it doesn’t want to be tricked some days 😏 My tip is to have less stuff and a robot vacuum cleaner, this way my house cannot get overly messy (somehow it still does but it takes less time to clean) and my floor is cleaned on a daily basis. Also I use timers but for like 5 or 7mn, not more than this. My brain is ok to get up and work for 5 mn, then once I have started doing something, most of the time my brain doesn’t want to stop, hehe, I’ve tricked my brain. ! 😂
