I'm by no means an expert, but it seems to me that the TCU mapping is allowing too much slip on the clutch upon launch, hence the overheating.

Believe another including myself mentioned this in the first video when he did stage 2 and did driving. you can hear it shifting. My guess is the ecu isn't removing torque during shifting.

Just double check your spark plugs after 2000 miles with that particular octane booster. It contains an additive that cokes up the plugs and can cause misfires etc. But apart from that it's easily the best octane booster around imo and that's backed up with the knock suppression it provides when compared to other examples. Its widely used in ireland where we only get 97 octane.

You'll probably find the draggy wasn't recording right in the first spot because it was a weak GPS signal there. Great video again, and the car is looking sounding and driving mint mate! Love it

Very impressive and MRC are great. My car at 540 constantly does around 3.2 and that's with the stock RS Sports exhaust and no full intake.

It’s common for DSGs to overheat after a few consecutive launches there are companies like racing line who make uprated coolers to prevent this a lot further maybe they’re worth looking at

Your gearbox needs remapping the gears are slightly slipping when going into a gear in the 100-200 should not be like that at all that’s dodgy mate

I believe you can launch in manual mode on these, so you can use the whole rev range as opposed to S mode where it auto shifts at 7k RPM, but you have to be lightening quick with the changes, especially 1st to 2nd so you don't bounce off the limiter. That might shave off some time off your already impressive time. Also manual mode for the 100-200kph time would improve the time massively as well.

Gearbox overheating is actually normal if you launch it back to back. You're supposed to allow time between each launch

Gratz on the 100k, nice 100-200 times but the 0-100 time is abit strange if you did spin allot or spin/slip the clutches. My stage 1 does same 0-100 times, best i done is 3.05 but most are aboute 3.1-3.2 and that was with bad tiers. We have tons of snow here in Sweden now so i am bolting on full stage 2 e85 under the winter so i can’t wait until the spring :) Mine is a 2018 sedan btw and i did find that best time i did get from launching is to launch directly when it hits 3.5k rpm and not let it build to much boost there, spins more.

Doug at Mac said when I launch I should do the gears manual and it'll get a faster result. also he said to experiment with the throttle modulation on launch. once launch is activated you can bring the throttle back and it'll launch at a less rpm giving more grip

You need to change the oil in the gearbox as it’s probably not doing it’s job now. Change it as it will be better for the gearbox.

Intervals for fluid changes are around 40k miles with tuning it’s recommended you halve them so I’m no expert but in theory the trans oil should still be good

@@iby20010 once the gearbox tells you it’s over heating. Then this tells you the oil has got very hot. When It gets that hot it’s breaks down so it’s not doing it’s job of keeping the components safe. So over the dodge oil you don’t want to replace the gearbox. The first thing that will go is hydraulic clutches. They take the beating.

Dragy issue. It's because you had alot of tall trees there. Tall trees affects gps signals. I work in telecoms. It worked OK when you were in the clear. Go back and try it again by the trees and I'll guarantee dragy will play up again. Try it in the clear and it'll be fine. Gps satellite radio waves can be blocked or affected by buildings, trees, etc. As can other radio waves, mobile telephony, wifi, etc

I think a Gearbox Oil Cooler/Radiator is on order in the very near future for sustained Launches and Rallyesque driving, lol 😋. Draggy box is heavily dependent on GPS Signal Strength... Just like you will find SatNavs playing up in and around Forests and Heavily Built Up & Tree Surrounding Areas where GPS Signal Strength is paramount. Car sounds too sick!

I'm pretty sure there was a time not too long a go when the warranty only covered 10 launches and that was better than Merc and BMW who voided the warranty if you used launch control. I wouldn't be surprised if the car is programmed to prematurely tell you the gearbox is too hot to avoid warranty claims.

In Serbia there is one golf 7.5r which has stage 2 with 400hp and the factory turbo goes from 0-100 in 3.2 seconds the time at 1/4 mile is 11.3 isn't that crazy.

You need A TVS Gearbox flash that will sort your issues i can see from the vid after every change you have some slip there hence the box overheating and also try launching with your ESC off less strain on the components.
