I used to work at a bike shop and thought I would pass along a best practice that we did when building bikes. Add a little grease to the threads on the pedals and the bolts for the handlebars. I couldn’t tell if you did or not.

I had to laugh at your comment about the helmet strap fitting under your double chin. 😂 Honestly, I never noticed it. Your nicely trimmed beard hides it. That pheasant jumping out in front of you caused me to jump. I had a vision flash in my mind of you flying over the handle bars. 😮 But, you handled it very well. The poor bird was obviously panicked, poor thing. No doubt you gave him a very exciting story to tell his bird buddies back home. 🤣By the way, I was relieved to see you keeping your hands on the handle bars more this time. Love my Aventure 2, but that Himi looks really solid. I had the same fears about whether I put the wheel on right the first time I went offroad, lol. Get a suspension seatpost, MASSIVE game changer for comfort since that style of bike is a hardtail. Here in the US our E-bikes can do 20 MPH with throttle, really nice coming off the line at intersections as at 80 pounds it's a beast to get started.
