I’m not entirely a fan of a lot of dresses in the New York version nor the London version so this was just a breath of fresh air...seeing a lot of unique and different designs and styles. Almost all of them are quite flattering. Atlanta is probably the worst but most of the KZbin episodes are quite old apparently.

Her fiancé seems like a great guy, and I think he’ll cry when he sees her in that beautiful dress. I loved the first dress and the one she chose, and I want to add that her sister is so adorable and loving. She’s not the glamorous one in the family perhaps, but she doesn’t seem to have a jealous bone in her body. She gave caring, constructive feedback to her sister and seemed to know what suited her. Such a lovely family.

I've only ever been to the US twice but everybody I met was so SO polite. Kind and friendly people. For some reason the TV shows that are popular in the US have a very high drama quotient. So maybe that's what they amp up on purpose. Randy's episodes hardly ever have awful people. Atlanta seems to need drama to disguise how fugly their clothes are.

In all the Lancashire episodes there are only supportive entourages and Gok and his assistants make fabulous work! I have never seen a dress twice in the Lancashire episodes which is fantastic! The bride looks stunning in every dress, and the entourage is extremely supportive! ❤️Love this episode!

As an American, I have to agree with many of the comments. Some American people are shallow, entitled, unkind, love to hear the sound of their own chatter and so unappreciative. It’s refreshing to watch the UK and Ireland’s version of SYTTD. People are so sophisticated, charming, polite, honest in a constructively critical manner and so supportive of each other.

I feel like one of the appeals of the British version is that a lot of Brits will say something neutral in the moment to save face like, “It’s not my favorite.” or “It’s alright.” but then in the interview they’ll be like, “It was awful!
